If someone tries to kiss you, you say no at first, they act disappointed, and you give in the second time, does that still count as assault or pressure?

I’m trying to understand something that’s been confusing me. If someone tries to kiss you and you hold back or say no the first time, but they look disappointed or act hurt and you end up giving in when they try again, partly because you like them and don’t want to make them feel rejected, does that still count as being pressured or coerced, even if you liked the kiss later on (for more situational context; on a first date)

I’m not asking for legal advice, just trying to understand the emotional and psychological side of it.
