New to Digimon. Need help understanding stats amd de-evolution.

As the title says; I'm pretty new to the games and I wa t to know where I can find resources or a clear explanation of the stasts and evolution mechanics.

I'd like to evolve as many as I can and I dont know how stats are raised/lowered/etc.

I play Comp pokemon so I understand the IV/EV/Nature system.
