Today I visited Income tax department for summons

Up until last moment I was very intensely stressed out as if I am attending an exam. Last few days I was thinking worse thing possible. Sometimes my heart used to beat faster as I think more about it. But, it did not happen the way I imagine and prejudices I have by reading on reddit many CA's tell you must not go alone.

Today, I attended summons and I took all my bank statements and ITRs. But, I haven't done computation. I gave my printed bank statements to the officer. Officer didn't check complete statement. He asked for proper computation. Like what year I got crypto and how much I sold and at what price. the tax I paid. What was my profession before. He suggested me to write in a proper way. which I can not that's why he suggested me get it done by a professional. Officer also said 5 lakh is a lot. Find someone who does under 50k. after visiting home I felt a mountain of burden removed from my shoulders.

The officer said prepare the computation properly and we will close the case in one sitting. Because, I already delayed more than 1 year from the first notice.

Currently, I am thinking about consulting koinx if I can not find the right professional person in my city.

I have generated crypto tax report from koinx with my binance account statement for the last 5 years. I hope it makes things easier for CA.
