Fair Kitchen Fitting Price?
Just bought a house and are renovating kitchen. Have had a joiner in to quote for fitting and have been quoted just over £4K including VAT. Is this a fair price considering the kitchen has already been removed and electrics and plastering are being covered by us? I’ve been let down by another joiner so this is the only quote we have to go off of. We’re in Ayrshire Scotland for reference and the breakdown excluding VAT is as below:
Site Management - 300.00
Skip hire - 325.00
Install client supplied kitchen. Inclusive of fittings and fixtures. Dry fit of appliances for wiring by others. Installation of chipboard worktops, inclusive of hob and sink cut out - 2000.00
Strip out and replace section of damaged plasterboard where existing tiles have been removed. approx 6m x 500mm - 157.89
Plumber to isolate existing waste and water feeds. renew and install as new to suit new kitchen layout. to install kitchen sink and taps and plumb in to new feeds and wastes as required. feed and waste also plumbed in for dishwasher and washing machine. - 375.00

Thanks!
