Which movie(s)/book(s)/video game(s) gave you the biggest gutpunch and why ?

Just a post to chat, i'll give mines, so beware of the spoilers for silent hill 2, final fantasy 7, metal gear solid 2, and persona 3 (you might know this one thought)

Let's begin with p3, and especially its ending. I played persona 3 portable when i started college, all the changes and being on my own for the first time was really scary, and i wasn't feeling really good mentally, and the ending of this game, added to its messages just brought me to tears.

There's also the first time a videogame made me cry with Aerith's death in FFVII. This scene is so sad for so many reasons, this scene made me cry profiously when i was a child, at the point that even my parents wasn't able to make me feel better.

Then, there's silent hill 2 as a whole, and especially the videotape scene and after. This game is a deep dive in the worst that lies within mankind, and it's kinda soul crushing to experience it, but it is really well done

And finally, There's mgs2. Especially at the moment Arsenal gear is launched, my brain wasn't ready for the game to go this deep in its theme, and it kinda gave me an existential crisis at the moment
