Portable small toolbox/bag for a student
I just started a machining class at my local community college and I'm quickly realizing that just tossing my gear in my backpack with my other stuff isn't gonna cut it. It's a small amount of stuff compared to a pro or even a student at a dedicated trade college, but we have to carry it back and forth every class day. That also extends to workpieces and some tooling as well. I'm at a bit of a loss trying to figure out how to carry this stuff, it'd fit in a cheap small (16", maybe even 12") plastic toolbox but I don't like the idea of everything banging around in one big compartment and I don't trust those boxes to hold up anyway. A soft bag seems like a possibility but I've got some concerns about those too. One of those little metal Harbor Freight or Kobalt mini toolboxes would almost work if it had a handle and latches, but the full-size versions are definitely too big and heavy to bother with.
Anybody else been in a similar situation or have any ideas?
