Aftercare question

Hello all I had a lighthouse done on my arm today, after 5 hours I took the wrap off, used fragrance free soap and warmer water to clean gently (not much water used) then pat dry with paper towel and put some coco butter on

However my tattoo artist sent an email (which I didn’t initially see) to do none of that just wash slightly with warm water, don’t moisturise and apply second skin (which I have since left off)

Is the method I have gone with (fragrance free soap, coco butter, no second skin) going to be negative for my tattoo or is it just a different method? From my understanding there are multiple after care methods
