Feels like a horror movie

Am I crazy? Why is there practically a 1:1 ratio of customers to employees in every Whole Foods I go in. I’m typing this as I pee in the bathroom and living that cliche where someone’s going stall to stall, incredibly loudly emptying trash - also, why do all the employees look super pissed, walking with this weird meth’d out intention? I understand stealing has historically been a problem for this chain but there’s no way the amount of labor monitoring people that might steal could offset this.

Just curious if this is just my spot in Austin or every Whole Foods? Weird experience very much like blink twice if you’re ok and definitely not in a cult.
