WIBTA? I feel like I want to create distance with her…

My girlfriend and I planned on hanging out this weekend. But my parents asked me to help them out tomorrow, and I feel as though I should, as they’ve taken care of me this past month, while taking my cat in also.

She acts like this a lot, and I really want to help her and be there for her, but it feels like I’m getting a lot of unjust anger. I definitely planned on, and still wanted to visit her this weekend and spend all weekend, but I also feel that I should help my parents when I can. I tried to tell her as calmly and gently as possible, but I guess idk if I messed something up.
