The other night, I felt like I was for sure coming down with something. BAD shivers. Shaking violently even under lots of blankets, then I’d get way too hot and sweaty after some time. I felt weak, clammy, pale, had stomach cramps, nausea, and some minor diarrhea. Woke up next morning feeling sort of fine, just tired from barely any sleep.

The day before that, I had chest pains (which I’ve had on and off for about a year. It hurts in the center/slightly left side of my chest and my back between my shoulder blades also on the left when I stand, walk, or take a deeper breath. A year ago I had this for a week. I wasn’t unable to function, but definitely felt it.

Yesterday, I decided to go to urgent care after the night with weird fever symptoms. They did an EKG because of the chest pain I mentioned. It came back abnormal. The doctor said my range of symptoms is so broad and there wasn’t that much he could personally do because at this urgent care doctors can’t refer patients to specialists. He ordered bloodwork and told me to have my primary care physician refer me to a cardiologist.

I had a chronic cough for about 6-7 months a year and a half ago. I wasn’t unable sent for a chest x-ray, which came back clear. 

When I was 13, I was sent from an urgent care to the ER. I went in with a severe migraine, wrist pain I’ve ever felt with lots of puking. They sent me to the ER because my heart rate was 150. Gave me GALLONS of fluid and it refused to go down. They did lots of tests including an EKG, some sort of x-ray thing to see if my heart was enlarged, blood tests. They found nothing and thankfully by morning my heart rate had gone back to normal and headache was gone. Left with no answers to wtf happened because they couldn’t find anything. They considered a spinal tap but decided not to because my heart rate had gone finally down. (NOT SURE IF THIS CORRELATES WITH WHAT I AM EXPERIENCING NOW).

Since senior year of high school, I’ve had countless incidents of lymph nodes swelling and then going back down a week later. This has always been a source of anxiety for me. Never any actual explanation as to why this happens.

I’ve had a doctor tell me once that I had an overactive thyroid, which hasn’t ever been said again despite having bloodwork done many other times. I do however have high cholesterol and have had it since literally middle school which obviously isn’t ideal.

The picture is today, I think these are lymph nodes, I’ve never had them swell that big or be red like this. They feel like hard lumps under my skin.

Also, night sweats on and off for the past year. Waking up drenched and having to change my clothes 😃 

I’m terrified and convinced that I have a tumor in my chest, sort of cancer that has been growing for years. I have to wait until next Wednesday to see my doctor and am in fact going to lose my mind. If anyone has any helpful info I’d appreciate it.
