Is anyone else's "content system" just 5 different apps and a pile of sticky notes? Feeling overwhelmed.

Discussion

Hey everyone,

I'm relatively new to taking content creation seriously and I'm honestly drowning. Not in a lack of ideas—it's the opposite.

My current "workflow" is a complete mess:

  • Video ideas are in a Google Keep note / Notepad.
  • Half-baked scripts are in random Google Docs.
  • Keyword research and title ideas are in a spreadsheet.
  • Links to research articles are just a bunch of open tabs I'm afraid to close.
  • Inspiration I see on the go is in my phone's voice memos.

It feels like I spend more time trying to find my ideas than actually developing them. When I finally sit down to film, I can't find that one brilliant point I thought of last week. It's getting so frustrating and I feel like I'm wasting so much creative energy just on bad organization.

How do you all manage this? I've looked at Trello and Notion, but they feel so generic, like I have to build an entire operating system for myself before I can even start working.

What's the most broken part of your idea management process? What's your dream solution for turning that initial spark of an idea into a fully planned video without losing your mind?
