So basically me and the Mrs like the green stuff and bought a house in July, we’re converting this into another room and I’ve got the materials to basically make a plasterboard box within the room itself. I have no plans to follow the shape of the roof and it’s just going to be a flat ceiling.

The roof has some damage that I’m getting repaired this weekend, and I’ve got 2 dry liners coming over from work to in the next couple of weeks to build it for me.

I’m keeping access to the back wall (pic 3) and stopping the work short of the fuse box that’s just to the right of the door.

Basically, what am I missing? I’ve been advised that putting insulation in the roof is basically going to make it a sweat box, I planned to seal the garage door in the next couple of weeks with some insulation and tape etc. it’s literally a bodge job that I’ll likely take down before I sell it and throw everything in the skip, it’s just to contain the smell of gods herb and I’m just looking for some pointers on how to make the room last longer.

When the frame has been put up I’ll probably latex the floor and tile it or use some vinyl depending how I feel and what favours I pull at work.

The room will eventually have a tv and sofa etc in and we’ll stick space heaters and a load of purifiers in there for the smell. Any advice welcome honestly!
