Annoying depressed friend

My friend is also depressed like me however he is incredibly annoying about it. He is extremely manipulative and constantly plays the victim. I don’t want to cut him off because I understand the pain of being depressed and alone. Also he’s gay so I understand he has it 10 times worse than me. But I’m tired of him manipulating me all the time

He bitches that no one checks up on him but I do check up on him, he’s just the one who never check up on me. He acts like he’s the only one who goes through shit in life but I’m also going through shit. We both come from backgrounds where our parents hate us, him for his sexuality, me because of paternity disputes and I’m also not as pretty as my mother would’ve liked me to be

He’s also mean and a bully, constantly commenting about my weight and fat shaming when I want to hold him accountable he threatens suicide and says I don’t care about him blah blah blah He’s constantly borrowing money and never paying back. He’ll vent to me all the time but when I try to tell him about my problems he won’t listen. I’m sick and tired of him.
