(21M) Struggling to Support My SAHM Girlfriend (20F)

My girlfriend has been a stay-at-home mom for our toddler son for the past 2–3 years. I work two jobs and am a full-time student, so I haven’t always done the best job of keeping her entertained or emotionally engaged.

I really want her to pursue her GED and higher education because I believe it would give her a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I also feel like her isolation at home has led to depression, and it’s taking a real toll on our relationship.

The problem is she isn’t very motivated to take these steps, and I’m struggling with how to continue supporting her mentally and financially. I don’t want to enable complacent behavior that keeps her stuck, but I also want her to be happy and successful. How do I navigate this?
