Would you leave if you were me?

So there is an open position for teaching incarcerated adults the content to pass our GED. The only problem is I'm under contract right now with a public school district. I could attempt to have them release me and here's a couple of reasons why:

I'm moving this month because the cost of my rent is too high so I'm being forced to move back to my home where I can afford the mortgage. It is 50 minutes away from my work one way. I also work 9-hour days and right now we work 5 days a week until mid-november. Then we do 4-day weeks.

The job in question is about 15 to 20 minutes away from my house. It is about a $2,000 a year pay raise. Plus it has much better health benefits.

On a personal note, I would also enjoy at my new job getting off a whole hour earlier. That in addition to also having Fridays working remotely, would be a great save of my time and also of gas money.

Another great plus would be not having to deal with parents. As I am being browbeat consistently by rude and aggressive parents telling me how to grade, how to talk to their children, etc etc. Not to mention the drama of being in a small town district.

Would you consider leaving if you were incredibly unhappy and tired of being in the public school system? I am aware that this new position will have its own unique challenges. But for some reason I don't fear them. I just want the change. Thinking about leaving behind all the morning, lunch, and dismissal duties and all the snarky horrible parents and admin in my room constantly making me feel less than, is great.
