Long-handled, handheld back massagers: Homedics vs Snailax vs Thumper

My husband likes to use handheld massagers on his low and mid back, and likes to lie on the bed on his stomach and let the massager just rest there. Therefore, I've been looking at long-handled massagers only. He had a Homedics for years, but it just died. I'm looking at these models, but really have no idea about quality and how percussive they are. Can anyone give me some insight? Thanks.
