Visa help

I am only staying in Spain from january 7-may 28 but Medea’s just accepted me and I paid the deposit today. I am wondering since I don’t think I am staying for more than 180 days if I need a background check and medical record. I know I need health insurance and other documents. I consultant is the one in LA if anyone has any advice.
