Can’t get cat to stop scratching furniture, GF is wanting her declawed which I said is a nonnegotiable “no”

Recently moved in with my girlfriend with my two cats. She has a dog, she’s fully a dog person but was ok with me bringing two cats into her life because we work well together and have a solid relationship. The younger of my two cats has been nonstop scratching all the furniture in the house she can get her paws on. I’ve tried the claw caps but she just chews through them, I’ve put up sticky tape on the places she wants to claw but she finds spots without the tape to scratch. I have scratching posts for her which she uses but she still goes after the furniture. This is driving my GF crazy and she’s been asking about having her declawed (we live in Georgia) because some people we know have had that done to their cats, but I’m very clear with her that that is an absolute no. What else can I do to stop my cat from scratching at everything?
