Is now a good time to buy a chain

I’ve done a lot of looking and the chain i want is a 14k 4mm 31.3 gram rope chain for about $3,100 and I know gold prices are at their peak right now so I wanted to ask about your opinions on the current state of gold prices. Do you think that prices will continue to rise without a drop for the foreseeable future. Would it be best to just buy it now and put it on a 0 interest credit card I have? I should also probably add the fact that I’m not really seeing it as investment it’s more of something nice that I want to keep for the rest of my life and wear daily.
