Title: Tinnitus Quest grants reopening soon — funding bold ideas to silence tinnitus

I’m a patient board member with Tinnitus Quest, a patient-driven nonprofit funding innovative research to silence tinnitus.

Our mission is to accelerate scientific breakthroughs through high-risk, high-reward projects that traditional funders often overlook. We back ideas that could move beyond symptom management toward genuine biological solutions.

Tinnitus Quest is built on transparency and collaboration:

Exploration: We support bold, early-stage hypotheses and novel mechanisms.

Openness: All funded projects share progress publicly.

Patient partnership: Patients are part of the decision-making and oversight process.

The grants program is currently closed but will reopen soon. Upcoming rounds will include smaller seed grants (up to €200k). Researchers begin with a short Letter of Intent, followed by invited full proposals.

We encourage submissions from across disciplines — neuroscience, auditory biology, regenerative science, neuroinflammation, neuromodulation, bioengineering, or AI-driven analysis.

If you have a bold concept that might be “too early” for conventional funding — we’d like to hear from you.
