When did GeForce Now get soo popular????

Everyone has already heard about the absurd traffic. I swear ever since mid-September the amount of pepole in queue has dramatically increased. I remember a few weeks ago when I had to wait for ony 40 pepole, 60 max but recently that's turned into 100-200. Where are all these pepole coming from? Are they pepole? Does anyone know if GeForce Now got some crazy exposure cuz I haven't heard anything...
