Hallucinations getting worse

💭Seeking Support & Advice

I’ve had hallucinations for almost 10 years now and they’re haven’t been too bad because for the most part I’m able to tell if I’m hallucinating, it just gives me anxiety and makes me paranoid but I logically know it’s fine.

But I recently quit weed in preparation for my dream job but weed made my hallucinations almost go away completely which was amazing. Weed also made me feel so much more human. But I quit over a month ago and ever since then the hallucinations have been ramping up even more and I’m having a harder time knowing that I’m just hallucinating. I’m already on antidepressants and antipsychotics and I don’t really want to up the dosage cause then it would help less for sleeping.

I plan on going back to having weed once a week soon cause that would be ok for my dream job, I just can’t do it daily anymore. Idk what to do about the hallucinations though because I also can’t afford therapy right now and haven’t been in months and I just don’t like that I’m struggling to differentiate real life and hallucinations.
