Umas can't win Narita Brian's race in her story

So I'm at the final race for Narita Brian's story. I try to get umas with Arima Kinen race won, they do not show up on the roster list (not the ones already in the race) I always get 2nd or 3rd place and can't advance. I generally run 3 speed 2 Stam 1 power, any tips would be appreciated cause I have played Super Creek, MayanonTop Gun etc and they do not qualify for some reason
