Which one is realistically the better option?

Admissions

I apologize in advance for the long message.

I’m a first-generation immigrant in Canada with a bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology from another country and a thesis-based master’s in behavioral Neuroscience from Canada. During the first year of my master’s, I realized I’m not built for research or a typical 8–5 desk job.

I’m currently working as a Clinical Trial Coordinator and, no offense to anyone in this field, I really hate it. I studied for the MCAT for five months and scored 507. The challenge is that, although I was among the top students in my undergrad, when my grades are converted, my GPA falls around 3.2–3.5 depending on the school and how they review the degree.

I’m 29 now, so I don’t have time to complete another bachelor’s degree. I need to focus on one or two realistic options since I can’t afford unlimited applications or prerequisite courses.

Which of the following paths do you think are realistic to get in?

  1. Retake the MCAT and aim for a higher score, I’m worried my GPA might still hold me back.
  2. Apply to a PharmD program (would require one or two prerequisite courses).
  3. Apply to Veterinary Medicine.
  4. Apply to the Physician Assistant program.
