Taking a snake out for a walk…?

I’ve been really interested in getting a snake and i wanted to ask a weird question…. has anyone taken their snake on a walk? Like just have them hang onto you while you go out for a bit? would that stress them out or mess them up because of the habitat? Just wondering incase i ever wanted to go out and take photos with my snake… sorry if this is dumb
