In need of a replacement for my Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger

My previous daily carry was an older Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger that I gave away when I started using my REV’IT H2O 22L motorcycle backpack daily. I now realize that I actually really miss the Kodiak Gearslinger and do not want to use the motorcycle backpack anymore unless I’m riding. The problem I’m having is that I don’t want to buy any new Maxpedition products because I feel that the quality has slipped to the point that they no longer justify their price. What I am looking for is a well made sling bag with at least 20l capacity that can hold a 15” laptop. I understand that most people complain of shoulder and back pain with large heavy sling bags but I carried my old Kodiak Gearslinger around absolutely filled to the brim with no issues whatsoever.
