FR 55 Upgrade?

So I got the forerunner 55 a few months ago mainly for just running use, but I’m honestly pretty disappointed in it. It doesn’t really have any functionality as an everyday watch, and even when running, the gps is spotty half the time and I’m getting frustrated with it.

Is it worth upgrading to another Garmin watch that would be better quality and could also be used as an everyday watch?

And where would I be able to resell my lightly used FR55 for some money back? Thanks!
