Need help against Darius T _ T

Hi there! I suck at the game, I can admit. I've only gotten to Emerald in alpha.

Nonetheless, One thing that I always struggle with is Darius... well one thing in particular. It seems like whenever he starts any combo from fast/light, even if I block he can just end it on a pull into grab and there's nothing I can ever do against it.

Am I missing something? retreating block would be my idea or assist but always forget to actually test it :(
