Early flight from Zurich

Hi there!

I want to ask for a sincere advice. I am currently located in St. Gallen and I have a flight from Zurich on next Friday early in the morning at 7.30h. I plan to catch a train from St. Gallen and this means I would be at Zurich Flughafen at 6.35h. Bag drop is until 6.50h but I will not have any, this serves just to have an impression about the whole timeline until departure. If my gate is pretty close, and I will know this the day before, do I still have time to arrive before it closes?
