What happened to Brenda?

I haven't finished the season yet--I'm about to start episode 9. But I notided that Brenda was limping for the past several episodes. Did medical get involved and deem it not serious, and that's why her limp didn't become part of the storyline?

I'm also really sad that she got the silent edit. She had such a spicy personality in Nicaragua and--aside from a few little cameos of her smiling and limping--is not getting any attention in Caramoan.
