Grad School Gap Year: Undergrad in Cognitive Science

So I need advice from reddit here, just recently graduated with a Cognitive Science B.S degree at UCSC. Unfortunately due to monetary and personal reasons grad school was out of reach for the 25 years cycle. I'm currently going to be working as a bank teller as I apply to a masters in psychology at various CSU programs for an eventual PhD and to get some money under me. Will this negatively affect my chances in getting into these master programs?
