My dad is drowning in debt, need financial advice

Hey everyone, I really need some sincere advice.

My dad has a 300,000 AED loan. He’s already paid off around 20,000, and the monthly installment is 7,000 AED. His salary is 14,000 AED, so after paying the loan, he’s left with 7,000 to run the entire household.

But the expenses go way beyond that

• My university fees are around 20,000 AED every 6 months

• My sisters’ school fees total 30,000 AED every 6 months

• He sends me around 1,000 AED every month

• Bills: 1,000 AED • Grocery: 3,000 AED • Eating out: around 1,000 AED • Miscellaneous: 2,000 AED

He uses credit cards heavily just to survive, but that’s obviously not sustainable. He’s been so stressed lately, and honestly, I feel completely helpless watching him struggle.

It’s a 4-year repayment plan, and we can’t seem to cut any major expenses without affecting essentials. We tried talking to schools/university for installment extensions, but they refused.

How do people get out of a situation like this? Are there any realistic financial strategies or options in the UAE that could help (without falling into haram interest)?

Any advice, experience, or ideas would mean the world to me right now.
