Deliveries are harder using paper bags. Any hacks?

Stater Bros in my area have switched to only paper bags and soon all of California. If I have to deliver groceries up flights of stairs in the past I could take four plastic bags full of groceries (2 in each hand). I can’t do this with paper bags that have no handles. I can only carry 1 at a time now. Plus if you have ice cream or milk thr bags can get wet. Especially if you have three orders to complete. If anyone has experience in how to make deliveries easier with paper bags please let me know.
