Any type B mamas not going all out on the nursery?

Our spare bedroom is my yoga room. I’m a yoga instructor and as sad as I am to part with my yoga space, I’m obviously so stoked that it is going to become a baby room. However, I have a lot of meaningful pieces of art and tapestries in there from my travels. I envisioned painting the room a sunny yellow, keeping my art and things, but incorporating a crib/dresser into the room.

Am I strange for not wanting to tear down all of my things to make way for a Pinterest-approved nursery ? I certainly won’t be practicing yoga in there and have no intention of making the room dual-purpose. I just feel like my baby boy might enjoy looking at the elephant wall art I got from India.. or the collage I painted as a young 20-something.

I am in no way shaming those who like to curate a baby vibe for their first nursery.
