My ACOG Broke….Again..

Yes, it’s true. My ACOG TA02 has broken a second time. If you are unfamiliar with the original breakage, check out my last post here.

I sent this ACOG to get repaired by Trijicon and that experience was great. Repaired and sent back in less than 2 weeks.

After the repair, it sat on my gun for several months without being used. Just recently went out to finally use it for training and all was well. My father in law comes over to borrow it for hog control and notices the chip in this rear glass!! I can’t believe it. The most rugged durable optic has broken on me TWICE within LESS than 100 rounds.

After it’s repaired or replaced this go around, I don’t know if I even want to try again or move along to another optic. The “ruggedness” doesn’t seem to be a sell for me anymore.
