How do we (as Catholics) interpret the Thomas More's Utopia?

Written in 1516 by Thomas More, whom coined the word Utopia (Greek for 'No place'), it have 2 Books written Latin and have inspired many authors such as Atlantis by F. Bacon and Dystopian like Orwell's 1984. in 19th century a lot socialist tried to proclaim that More was post-communist, but it would be absurd, the book is socio-political and satire of his time, alot puns in Greek on Latin language, like Rafael Hythlodey means "Messager of Nonsense" (even tho' the island is fictional, it can be inspired by Amerigo Vespucci voyages isles and England cities itself). But my question asked: how did the "catholic" reader do understand the book itself?
