Getting Repeat Flames of Corruption from Name That Egg?

Hey all, I thought you couldn’t get repeat colors from the name that egg mini game chests if you placed the ones you have in your park, but I got purple three times. Or does the non-repeat thing only apply to chests you buy in the event market? I feel like you couldn’t get repeats before but I could be wrong.
