SuperCell "Personalizes" our clan search filters now. Please remove and never add this again without more fine tuning.
Myself and others have been under the impression our clans have been shadow banned or the like. Instead SCell has opted to create and use machine learning to try and recommend us clans IT thinks we will like to join.
This is problematic in the sense that if you play with groups of clans/alliances theres a chance your own clans will not be recognized as "a good fit for you" by whatever system Clash of Clans is using.
We encountered problems with such instances here where the search was very clear yet the algorithm did not show the clans being searched.
Clan being searched without capitalization returning wrong results
Clan being searched WITH capitalization yet wrong results
Clan name being shortformed to avoid overwhelming the search and still producing the wrong results
All 3 images return the wrong results entirely, this means that if we didnt have our clan bookmarked? We'd be stuck trying to find our own clan(s) or we would have to result to third party websites to track down the exact clan ID number for the clan(s) we were wanting to join.
This may sound like a cool concept but as it stands it confuses us players who are use to being able to simply search up the clan(s) we've been playing in only to be stuck when ours dont show up. This needs to be looked at and redone.

Search engines admit that this \"personalized\" option is sometimes inconsistent
ChatGPT's attempt to find out when this was implemented.
After cross checking using Gemini and then doing a brief google search we confirmed that SuperCell has an algorithm for clan searching but could not verify or find a date for WHEN this was uploaded, but this has been noticed recently.
Finally this is not a hate thread towards SCell this is however us players asking for this "feature" to be removed for the time being and rebalanced.
Thank you
