Underground gray automatic car wash?

Been babying my 2024 4Runner that is underground gray and only hand washed it or self washed with pressure washer since off the lot. I don’t really have the time for that lately and the lift doesn’t make it easier. The touch less car washes are useless. My understanding when buying the car was that contrary to metallic silver and metallic gray paints, which tend to be super easygoing, the uni color underground gray paint is likely to be highly sensitive to automatic car washes and would get tons of visible micro scratches and swirls. I am already sensitized from my uni black Challenger which even scratches during hand washes or when looking at it.

What is people’s experience with underground gray 4Runner (5th or 6th gen?) and using automatic car washes? Am I paranoid or overly sensitive? Would love to hear from sensitive people that experienced it being no issue :)
