Has anyone used Japan Rabbit recently? How accurate is their shipping calculator?
I recently ordered a pair of Converse J shoes from Converse Japan and had them shipped to the Japan Rabbit warehouse. My total order (including their service fee) came out to around $77 USD. It was billed just today to be ordered to their warehouse and then I have to choose a shipment method for international shipment to Jordan.
I’m now trying to decide which shipping method to use to Jordan, and I noticed that the Japan Rabbit shipping calculator gives me an EMS estimate of around $38 USD (for a 1300–1400g package, roughly 35 × 25 × 13 cm as far as I've researched for basic converse shoes packages).
Before I choose, I wanted to ask:
- How accurate has the Japan Rabbit shipping calculator been for you compared to what you actually paid?
- Do they tend to charge more once the package is packed and weighed, or is it usually close to the calculator estimate?
- Has anyone tried their EMS, Small Packet Airmail or Printed Matter Airmail options ? Were they reliable and did tracking work fine?
- Lastly, how long did your EMS or Small Packet delivery take once it left Japan?
Would really appreciate any insight, especially from people who’ve shipped clothes or shoes with Japan Rabbit recently.
