Baby having a hard time latching after milk regulating

My baby is 14 weeks old. Suddenly, my breasts no longer feel full when it’s time for baby to eat and they always feel soft. I’m trying not to freak out and reassure myself that it is just my milk regulating.

The problem is, baby has a hard time latching to soft breasts. It’s taking longer for a let down as well and he gets frustrated I’ve had a hard breastfeeding journey so far, and I felt like things were finally going well, so this is super frustrating. I’m going back to work soon and I’m worried baby will develop a bottle preference because of this.

Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips or tricks?
