Looking for pointers and gotchas for GA - seating, shade, restrooms, food and whatnot

Hi everyone, this is the first time we will be attending a to grand Prix and we have GA 3 day passes. We are planning to take shuttle and will be carrying sunscreen, electrolytes.

As the title says, I'm looking for pointers and gotchas for GA.

1. Since I'm assuming a lot of time, we'd be in grass, what's the deal with GA, do we need (is this even allowed) to carry our chairs or other seating arrangements?

2. Similar to above, should we be bringing in some kind of shade? Like a beach umbrella?

3. Food, water and restrooms

And finally, I'm sure I'm missing a lot of stuff to consider, please comment any of your pointers.
