Advice for a Slimmer Profile Outdoor/Workwear Watch

Howdy all. Looking for some advice.

For the past year I’ve worn Casio G-Shocks in both a resin and stainless steel variety. Great watches, fairly comfortable. However, as time has gone on, what I’m realizing is that these watches, while durable and effective, are so bulky that when I wear cuffed shirts and jackets they can become uncomfortable.

I am in need of a watch that one could use during moderate physical work, or outdoor activities such as camping or hiking, that is not so bulky by way of the case. Waterproof would still be excellent. Bonus points if it has 20mm lugs so that I can use a watch strap I purchased for another watch.
