American Airlines flight not worth full miles value?

Last month I took an AA flight operated by AS for SEA-IAD (and back). It took over a month for the points to hit my account but when they finally did I only received ~1150 points going there and ~500 for the return flight. My itinerary says each trip should have been about 2300 miles.

This was a business trip I booked through Concur/AMEX Global Business Travel is that means anything.

Are partner flights worth less on Alaska proper?
