asap!!! what visiuals i can put on the newspaper made for Christian Elders?

i need to copy paste, sorry!

Hello! I currently volunteer for a seniors home, and helping the most sweetest lady with a favor she asked me! She wanted me to prepare a 2 paper news paper monthly for her unit. now the thing is I am not a Christian and do not know much about it and can't learn it all now. Please help me out! I have but The Beatitudes by her request in front page, the others are birthdays of the month, events and a short interview ending with a crossword! I just dont know what to put visually, and dont wanna put something that might offend someone! again i know the content i should put, just how to organize it to make it appealing? this is will be for october so any ideas are welcome! please keep the fall spirit in mind :)
