Wheel covers

Among the optional accessories of the ex30 are also wheel covers. I don't know whether installing the covers is a good solution and helps protect the bottom of the car from flying small stones that fly from the wheels and thus prolongs the good condition of the car, or is it a complete waste that also increases aerodynamic resistance and thus shortens the car's range. I will be happy for every opinion.
