What is night life like in your country?

Where I'm from (Greece), almost every large-ish city has a very rich night life. Every Friday+Saturday night the streets will be filled with people, restaurants, bars and clubs are open all night long and it doesn't start to die down until at least 4-5am. "Student cities" that host universities and colleges are even more extreme. In my hometown, Thessaloniki, which hosts the largest university in Greece (AUTH) the streets and squares are filled with people even during the weekdays.
