I'm really confused about honking

When are you actually supposed to honk ?

Like I use my horn in these circumstances mostly, when I'm overtaking, when I'm taking a blind turn, when someone is taking a turn without any indication and at a high speed which could result in a collision bw me and them.

I usually avoid honking at traffic signals as I think they cause unnecessary stress and pressure on the drivers at the front.

In what situation do y'all use your horn.
