đź”´ Minecraft Bedrock Multiplayer Is Broken for Many Players Since Mid-2024 (North Africa, Middle East, Asia) đź”´
🧩 The Real Reason Behind Minecraft Bedrock’s Connection Problems
Since mid-2024, Mojang and Microsoft have silently changed how multiplayer connections work in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. They introduced new central authentication and handshake servers, and added another verification layer linked to Xbox Live and the Azure Network.
With the full integration of the RenderDragon engine, the game also started handling DNS and TLS (secure connection protocols) differently from before.
⚠️ The Result
These technical changes caused unexpected side effects in many regions — especially North Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. Because players in these areas often connect through distant or restricted networks, the game falsely assumes the connection has failed, even when the internet is stable.
That’s why players around the world started seeing error messages like:
“Your client is having trouble establishing a connection to multiplayer services.” “Your version is not supported.” “Unable to connect to world.” “Multiplayer Connection Failed.”
In most cases, these errors appear only when joining non-official servers (like NetherGames, Zeqa, or others), while official servers such as The Hive still work — simply because they’re hosted directly on Microsoft’s central network.
đź’¬ Why This Matters
This issue has isolated thousands of Bedrock players globally and severely impacted independent servers and creators. It’s not caused by players, mods, or ISPs — it’s a direct result of how Mojang and Microsoft rebuilt their networking system after RenderDragon.
If Mojang truly cares about the Bedrock community, they need to:
Re-evaluate the RenderDragon networking layer.
Provide stable, region-based connection paths.
Communicate openly about these technical limitations instead of staying silent.
Let’s raise our voices together — so Mojang finally listens to the players who built this game’s community.
