Feeling guilty not wanting to do anything…

Advice, Pls

My dad died almost two months ago. We had a business together and since his death, I’ve decided to shut down the business. So I’ve basically been unemployed for the last two months. In the beginning.. I was very motivated. I’m switching careers to something I’m passionate about. Have started on certifications, apply for jobs, etc. and I’m even waiting for a job offer from a job I applied for. But the last week or so… I’ve just felt extra sad. Extra unmotivated. I go to sleep around 11pm. Wake up at 2am. Sit around all day and do nothing. This has caused me to feel extremely guilty for not going out and living my life.

Financially I’m fine. My wife is still working, we have a nice savings cushion, I’m collecting unemployment and as I said I’m actively seeking work but I’ve just felt so guilty for sitting around. The motivation to do most things is not there. I’ll play some video games. Watch some TV. Do house chores. But I’ve been barely leaving the house. Part of me is grateful to have the time to grieve but I’m worried I’m becoming too complacent thinking if I should be doing more now while I have the time… just wanted opinions on if this is normal or if anyone has had a similar experience.
